The target audience for these muscle supplements are teens/adults who are devoted into muscle training. These companies used big, eye catching words and phrases such as "serious mass", "ripped", "fastest fuel", and "performance series" to grab their audience's attention and make the audience think that the product will boost the results of their training. These products do reveal gender stereotypes by leaning their advertisements more on the men's side because men are more interested into intense muscle training than women do. These companies list many the benefits of their product on the front of the bottle and paired them with dark and intense background colors to attract their male customers. One had the texture of car tires as the background because car tires represent stability, endurance, and strength and it will likely make the male customers relate the values of a car tire to the product they are buying.
