As settlements establish themselves and colonies grow in the Americas, trade routes begin to evolve. A simple back and forth exchange is worth less; especially when a ship sails empty. Ships unload and reload cargo along different stops. Each region supplies the next destination with the demand they need. More money changes hands with each transaction while transatlantic trade begins to look more triangular. Imports coming in and exports going out represent the supply and demand of a global market. See if you can determine whether each resource is a raw material or manufactured good? Which parts of the world seems to be more industrious?
