By general consensus, it is the most important Byzantine structure and one of the world’s great monuments.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Dolmabahçe Palace built in 19th century is one of the most glamorous palaces in the world. It was the administrative center of the late <strong><em>Ottoman Empire</em></strong> with the last of Ottoman Sultans was residing there. After the foundation of the Turkish Republic in Ankara, <strong>Mustafa Kemal Atatürk</strong> transferred all government functions to the youthful capital but on his visits to Istanbul Atatürk occupied only a small room at Dolmabahce Palace as his own. He stayed, welcomed his foreign guests and made a practical center for national, historical and language congress and for international conferences.</div>]]></description>

It became a museum in 1924. It is one of the biggest Palace-museums in the world. The Palace has a beautiful view of the Bosphorus and it is located in a peninsula.<br><br>It is the most visited museum in Turkey. Millions of tourists visit Topkapı Palace every year. Also the palace has been the capital of Ottoman Empire for more than 400 years. After the foundation of Turkish Republic it became a museum.   <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Galata Tower</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Galata Tower is the one of the oldest towers in the world. It was built at 528 while Byzantine Emperor Justinianus was reigning. Genoese people used it at 13th century. Tower has 9 floors and it is 66,90 metres. From 1717 this tower used for security (like watching for if there is any fire in the city) by Ottoman Empire. At 1875 it's roof is gone because of a storm. After restoration people started using it again at 1965. Galata Tower is an important symbol of Istanbul.</div>]]></description>
