         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the Constitution was drafted, there should be 9 states to sign in order to activate it. Eventually, New Hampshire signed to be the 9th one to admit the Constitution, then Virginia and New York signed and compromise. Then George Washington was elected as the first president of the United States and led them together and united.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Great Compromise: Commerce &amp; Slave Trade</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since southern states economy was based on the slave trade and exported goods, they were afraid that the Congress would ban the slave trade and taxed on the exportation of their goods. Because of this, the Congress agreed to not having any power to tax any states' exportation and would not involve slave trade until 1808.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Great Compromise: Slave counted as person</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The second issue that they discovered was that whether a slave was a person. The southern states considered slaves should be counted in the population, however the northern states did not want the slaves to be counted as part of their population. Eventually, they reached the compromise that slave would be counted as 3/5 of a person.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Great Compromise: Represented in Congress</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the Conceptional Convention, there was a conflict between small and big states. The big states would like the number of representatives depend on population, however the small states wanted the number of representatives based on the state itself. Due to this problem, the Congress decided that there would be two kinds of representatives, one was based on population which is House of the Representatives for nowadays, and another one was based on the state itself, which is Senates for now. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Constitutional Convention </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The next year after the meeting in Annapolis, which is in 1787, all the states gathered together and decided to rewrite the Articles of Confederation. There were 55 delegates who represented each state to attend this event. Because of this meeting, the Constitution was finally drafted and ready to publish which changed these colonists into an united nation.   </div>]]></description>
