This movie is incredible and unforgettable for a lot of reasons but I would say mainly because of Marlon Brando's performence as colonel Walter E. Kurtz. Brando arrived on the set overweight and completely unprepared but he maid, in this film, one of his best performence thanks to his talent of improvisation and to his horror monologue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPPGMNOLaMw) who is for me the best representation of brando's talent.
