"The Rising Eye" just sounds cool to me. The Chapter 5 title, "The Boston Observer", is a newspaper's title. I can tell by the "Observer" part. Chapter 4 mentioned "sea chests" . My guess: either a chest with contents that will help you at sea, or a chest that contains treasures from the sea. The book stated that Johnny walked half the length of Long Wharf. Isn't it the largest wharf (dock) in that area? Plus, the first picture in Chapter 4. Is the guy fat (what a LOL!) ? Or is it just the picture? I really don't know. As I said before, this book has REALLY fancy pictures. That fat guy seems to be a merchant. I think merchants are church-related, because the merchant said something about baptizing. In *2*, what story do the girls (Cilla and Isannah?) tell Mrs. Lapham that she believes? Also, Mrs. Lapham said something about a birth/death room. If anyone mentioned the birth/death room, and I'm sorry, but I might have missed that part of the book. Further into *2*, Mrs. Lapham is like, " Secondly. Wit how is Johnny predicting the future he mentioned the Civil War and they win the war ? It is very weird that British prisoners are naked, have tar poured on them ,have black feathers put on them, and are kept in crates. In the book it said that they try to dress them like crows. Disgusting is it not ? What kind of people would do that to another human being. Since Mr. Tweedie did not marry Dorcas or Madge Miss Lapham married him herself so now she is Mrs. Tweedie. I was thinking that Philadelphia was capital of the United States or maybe back the Thirteen Colonies because the book said '' let us send it to the Continental Congress of Philadelphia". Did you know that Philadelphia was capital of the United States from 1790 to 1800 then Washington became capital. Now they want war and will not settle for peace. I still do not know why Johnny is still talking about the Civil War when they have not even started the Revolutionary war. Sam Adams old Paul Revere o set up a secret spy system. Anyway it`s strange that politics effect how the pastor preeches. The choise of tax on tea made by England will lead to the boston tea party. Anyway, Sam adams` visit to jhonny and rab is a big deal. His visit was to tell rab about the tea party. As it goes on, the book gets more exsiting. The sons of liberty killed a tory for chasing them. but why does jhonny have a knife. Sam Adams and Rab may really fight war ships. They are either brave or stupid. The meeting about the tea party is very cool. They describe  the full plan and put it into action. Paul Revere is a brave man. He is one of the first people (in the book) to risk their life for freedom. I remember one of liam`s first comments he said jhonny and cilla were to be married. I had said I missed that part. Now the book says jhonny loves cilla. I wonder if she loves him back? I think jhonny`s dream about the ship represents his fear of destroying the tea. What is the Boston Massacre? Now there`s some real suspece. If the tea ships leave with the tea they grt shot down. However the ships must unload everything.To make matters worce ARMED citizens guard the ships.I read a book saying that the people in the tea party looke indeans. in this book the boys get dressed up as indeans. To start, on page 197, I like the picture for that chapter. And do the Lytes have a RUBY coach? As in, ruby the gem? On a page a few pages after page 197, Miss Lavinia 'crawls' out of the ruby coach. She tries to smile, and the book says Johnny has seen the same face on a dead woodchuck. Johnny's liking for Miss Lavinia is disappearing quickly! On page 200, Cilla says "Mr. Lyte turned purple and fell." I really want to know if she meant that literally or not. very near the start of *2* they mention the Lytes sitting down for dinner. My guess: the coach they took took them to the Lyte's house.The Lytes must have a very well-stocked pantry because this is what the book says: "Bread broken and never eaten.The roast of beef, with Yorkshire pudding sticking in the gravy.
