We think the central message that Shelley tries to convey through Frankenstein is that everyone judges someone or something based on appearances alone, ultimately not considering the other’s feelings. Like in the case with the monster, he was shunned, hated, and attacked by those who set their eyes on him. Everyone has standards of how one should look and how one presents themselves, and additionally people are quick to judge appearances quickly because it’s the easiest to see. This causes conflict in the story, and it is the same in reality.

The lesson Mary Shelly was trying to get across was the way you act towards someone can affect how they treat and act towards others as seen by the monster and victor. And the message is treat others the way you want to be treated

Moral consideration should precede controversial actions. Frankenstein considered not whether he should create an unpredictable being from dead body matter, absorbed solely by the notion that he was able to achieve his goal.
People consist of more than just their physical appearance, shown as Shelley uses the monster as an object in order to physically embody loneliness and isolation. None of the monster's ideas or thoughts receive attention, as all dismiss his presence due to his outward appearance, making him an unwanted outcast.

We believe there are many lessons that mary Shelley planned to teach readers.
-too much knowledge can be dangerous
-don't play god and the science of life
-and think before you act, every action has consequences
The monster wasn't born a monster it was his interactions and experience with humans that caused him to be the way he is.

The lesson we learned is to think of the possible consequences before doing something. Also to be kind and open-minded because you never know how your actions will effect someone else. All of the monster’s murders started with people running away or attacking him. He felt abandoned and alone because of Victor and the family he watched.

The lesson that Mary Shelley is trying to get across is to correct your mistake. Victor knew he had made mistakes, such a creating the monster and not taking responsibility for his actions and letting his creation kill may of his loved ones. He later learned that what he did was wrong and proved it when he refused to create the she monster.

knowledge is power but it doesn't make you powerful, meaning that victor had the knowledge to create the creation but in the end , in a way, the creation overpowered him by threatening him and killing his loved ones. also neglecting people from society has negative impacts as we saw with the creation and victor.
