I did this because in this scene Void Stiles, who is taken over by a dark spirit is with his friend who is hurt. The music starts off with a baseline as they enter the scene. using what sounds like cymbals to create that beat and then starts to get a louder high pitch sound when the dark spirit takes over Stiles, which insinuates that the bad spirit is with stiles. It works because it builds suspense for the audience at that particular moment. As soon as Kira gets thrown down to the ground the music stops for a moment, basically telling us that she has been knocked down. It is effective because the music helps tell the story of what is happening in this scene. At the end when Deaton is taking the sword from Scott they use a drone, this works for this bit as it builds up worry and suspense as to what is going to happen next.
