For the violinist, she will face challenges such as shifting positions and harmonising the melody. The instrumentations between both songs are similar from section to section.
 
The introduction and verse 1 are commonly accompanied by a single instrument either a guitar or piano with a vocalist as an initial stage of the song. There’s a piano accompaniment in 'One Call Away' introductory chorus while Charlie Puth was singing in the beginning. In Jay's song 'Won’t Cry', verse 1 chanted to a piano accompaniment creating the very first layer of instrumentation and slowly build up in upcoming sections. 

More instruments or sound effects were added into the upcoming verses and pre-chorus sections. In the second verse of 'Won’t Cry', acoustic guitars and strings were added to strengthen the foundation of the song. In 'One Call Away', the second verse and pre-chorus sections added electric guitar lines like arpeggios and synth in a higher register to fill the spaces before entering the chorus. 

In the chorus, the similarity between both songs in the basic groove became more apparent. Both songs entered the chorus with full band entry to emphasize the rhythmic pattern such as the drum in 'One Call Away' functions parallel to the shaker in 'Won’t Cry'.  

The sections after chorus for both songs are generally identical in terms of layering. For example, the layering includes piano, bass, drums, and guitar. The layers are simplified after the first chorus with the full band and slowly build up again for the upcoming sections. For example, the third verse in 'One Call Away' only consists of drums and synth without the electric guitar and bass. The same goes for 'Won’t Cry' with a short piano solo in the instrumental interlude right after the first chorus.   

Lastly, for the last chorus of both songs, the piano accompaniment went back to the very first layer and build back up to the climax with full band entry and finishes with the piano intro as an ending.

Differences
The difference in terms of instrumentations and layerings was the use of breaks in both songs. 'One Call Away' has a two-bar break with basslines before entering the chorus. In 'Won't Cry', there are no breaks in the entire song.

There is a distinctive difference in terms of song structure between both songs.
 
'One Call Away', a song by Charlie Puth is constructed with different sections when compared to 'Won’t Cry by' Jay Chou in terms of orders. 'One Call Away' begins with merging chorus into the intro while 'Won’t Cry' starts with a piano intro. The form of Charlie’s song consists of pre-choruses and bridge while Jay’s song consists of instrumental interludes.

The tempo also makes most of the mandarin songs longer than English songs as they are slower in tempo. 

The average duration of mandarin songs is about five minutes and English songs around three and a half minutes. Differences
Generally, mandarin songs have more complex chord progression or phrasing. For example, the chord progressions used by Jay consist of more passing chords in between two chords which extend the entire progression. Such as progression like I, vi, IV and V are added with minor 7th flat 5 chord and secondary dominants.  
Looking back in 'One Call Away', the chord progressions are more simpler and direct. The progressions used are straightforward like I, V, vi and IV, I, V. There are more plagal and perfect cadences that occur in the progression which resolves the tensions respectively.
