Specific: My goal for this first term is to put my grade up to at least a B+ and get a high score on the exam. Measurable: I can measure this goal by using the PRF to track my scores and measure how well I will do in the exams based on the performance of my own respective quizzes.

Attainable: I think this goal is achievable if I manage to submit every homework on time, taking notes every session and doing my own reviews before quizzes and long tests.

Relevant: This goal is relevant for me since I believe this will help my application to senior high and I find it relevant too to my sense of accomplishment since I would get to finish a goal.

Time-Bound: I think this goal is still achievable with the time I have left and I just have to ensure I will review a ton before the upcoming exam.

From this term, I'd rate my performance a solid 6 since I didn't manage to do that great. I didn't get the highest of scores but I still got to pass majority of my assessments but I did have a bad score on one particular quiz because I didn't prepare enough after being absent for a long time. I still need to focus so I may get a high score on the exam and avoid any avoidable mistakes like forgetting to change the signs or forgetting key information that will help me in multiple choice like what is the difference of a function and mere relation.

Specific: I plan to achieve this goal by studying a lot for the exam and reviewing my past mistakes on quizzes and accomplishing the mock test. I still need to finish strong since I did poor in the recent long test.

Measurable: I find this goal to be accomplished already since I have done majority of the preparation since I have accomplished the reviewer and we will only find out if my preparation was enough when exams are done.

Attainable: I think the goal of having a grade of B or even higher can be accomplished since I reviewed a lot for the exam this break. Even if we are nearing the end of the first term it also doesn't mean that my grade is set in stone and I can always try and achieve a higher mark.

Relevant: I feel this goal will be accomplished like I mentioned before, I feel that I didn't let any obstacles stop me from reaching my goals like getting lower scores since I still strive to work harder than yesterday.

Time-Bound: Now that the term is almost finished, I can say with certain confidence that my goal is very possible for me to achieve. I was taught that I should never back down and no obstacle can stop me from achieving my goals in this journey to do better.

Most Challenging Task

My hardest task was quiz 3 since I mentioned before that my preparation wasn't enough since I was absent for a long time due to sickness. I came in to school thinking I was ready but I wasn't and because of my recklessness I got a low score. I didn't even know what zeroes meant, but I can still do better. Now that I have reviewed and prepared even more, I do now know what zeroes meant which are just the x-intercepts and how to graph properly. From now on, if I face these challenges again I vow to ask my classmates for help by asking for their notes or asking them if I missed any key concepts that were taught when I was absent.

Misconceptions

One misconception I had is that I would have a rough time with quadratic functions but I had a fun time learning it and getting the zeroes. Though, I did get a low score in quiz 3 I reviewed more and now know what things to remember when solving like how to get the zeroes and what do you need to graph. I did have a few bumps along the road and that is why I looked up youtube videos to help me and this particular video helped me understand the concept of quadratic functions more.

I also thought I would have a hard time with simplifying radicals but it turned out to be alright since I am more experienced now. I had a lot of trouble with this in the previous year since I made a lot of avoidable mistakes like forgetting whether a number is a perfect square or not, or forgetting the exponent.

Best Works

I think my best work was Quiz 4 since it was my highest score and It felt so effortless to answer it and I felt like it was a breeze and I finished early when doing the test. What I can takeaway from that is that my preparation for the quiz was good and that's what resulted to my score. I took a lot more notes during class and did extra work by watching youtube videos on concepts I didn't fully understand like the powers of i (Imaginary numbers).

Collaborative Works

This term there was no collaborative works like the alternative assessments but my classmates and I still help each other out. During group discussions where we have to answer an item, my seatmates and I always consult each other to where we got a mistake or if we had the same answer or not. It allowed us to bond as classmates and help each other reflect on the lesson deeper and more than just doing it individually.
