She said that this one time she and her friends were in the car and they were smoking marijuana and they kept blowing it on her. This was significant because if you or your friend group smoke or does something that is unhealthy, they should respect your boundaries and decisions.

The thing that stood out to me was when they were talking about how influence can lead to people doing certain stuff. Such as music influence. Young people may get influenced to do stuff based on music or what is in it. It can be smoking, drugs, and etc. Then there are some people that get caught up in that lifestyle and instead tell you not to end up like them. Thats more of a good peer pressure since they forcing you not to take what they taking.

The main thing that I could not only relate to but it stood out to me was Briamarie's story. I much like Briamarie am introverted and can even be labeled as shy, but just like her I've been pressured into smoking and drinking but I've refused every single time because I want to be a pro athlete and don't want to fall down a dangerous spiral, Much like Briamarie as she wanted to be a singer and turned down opportunities that would ruin her voice and chance at success.

Something from the video that stood out to me is the Imani because the when she said if she goes to party's and etc with her friends, her friends want to make get drunk and do drugs even though she doesn't want to do that. Imani wants live a positive life, not a negative life with people peer pressuring on what to do and what not to do. She also gives what she wants to do, and what she is going to keep doing on what she is going to do.

This is significant because it shows how anyone can stand up to peer pressure and not fold.

Something that stood out to me is what Antywon said in the video about being honest with himself. He talked about when he was in high school, he wore clothes and styled his hair the way his friends did, where he was socially pressured. But when he got more into fashion in college, he felt that he could be more honest with what he wants to wear and do, not going with the trend and just aiming for his passion. I can somewhat relate to this because I feel social pressure with my friends sometimes and I try to do the same things as them to fit in, but the significance of it is to stay true to yourself and don't let others define who you really are.

I related to the general theme of being pressured into doing something you did not want to do to begin with. The people in the video give good insight as to why the choices you make are your own and shouldn't be influenced by anyone else. I agree that people who try to pressure you into doing something that harms your person aren't really your friends, and they do not seek the best for you.

Living your best life is something that should be practiced by everybody, however the next persons best life is most certainly not my best life. So I somewhat agree with this statement but it can be spun into many different malicious ways and that is just something I cannot get behind. If the idea of ones best life revolves around alcohol and drug abuse than I dissagree with the statement, but if the idea revolves around success, financial freedoms, and education than I will most certainly stand behind the movement. Social media tends to spread this idea of living your best life quite often and is misleading to many people. It coerces people into believing a fantasy and thinking that bad things are good by backing it up with the motto yolo.

To "live your best life" to me feels like it depends, because some teens dont have that time either cause of family or stress. To most teens it means, to use the time to live your best teen life and not just throw it away since some people will regret it. This also relates to social media because alot of teens post pictures to show what they are doing and the life they are living. Nowadays teens on social media is taking pics of where they are. People can look at them thinking that they are having fun in what they are doing.

Living your best life as a teen is different for everyone, but some people think teens living their best life means to get wasted and smoke. I think social media also endorsees this notion too, because in movies teens are portrayed as such.

I feel like we are feeling pressured because if our friends are under the influence you want to follow the crowd and start breaking into those bad habits to. I agree to the extents where it does not affect your health negatively or put you in danger. This relates to social media because we are also very heavily influenced by what we see online and other people doing.

The statement "live your best life" can mean many things in general, sometimes good and other times it could put pressure on a person. While it is true that a person should live their life to the best of their ability, it also comes with a form of pressure because of the constant need to reach a specific place in life. Social Media could influence this heavily, due to many factors such as jealously, low self esteem, etc. If a person sees someone living a better life then them, it will make make re-evaluate how they are living their lives personally which could turn into a negative feeling. This does impact my thoughts and my peers, but for me personally it's more motivating then harmful.

I think the statement, "live your best life," means to live to the fullest and enjoy life to the best of your ability. I've seen this phrase being tossed around a lot on social media and I somewhat agree with it but disagreed with some points as well. I do think its important to do what makes you happy but there are many cases of reckless and careless actions that are interpreted as exhilarating once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The social pressure teens can feel from that is that they might take big risks to follow the trend of things on social media or their friends' behaviors that may seem fun or exciting to them. Depending on a the person, living your life to the fullest is seen differently by everyone. There are those who do drugs or break the law for the sake of living their best life, thinking about the feeling instead of the consequence. It can impact thoughts, behaviors, and actions on what the norms are, following that phrase by heart, to other peers and friends. I feel kind of conflicted about this statement because there are many times of I feel stress in the day and I keep hearing "live your best life" by the media, so it's hard to find time to do so with school and other factors, which shows everyone has different situations that limit living life to the fullest.
