With the pandemic we see a lot of these signs posted everywhere to wear your mask. This is something easy to understand about our world. But when we see a sign of inclusion that a business supports LGBTQ, Black Lives Matter, Every Child Matters and Abilities these are all deeper form of literacy. Being able to understand what these signs mean in a business is a form of literacy and it is so important. Being able to read and follow measurements and instructions contributes to being literate. Cooking for ourselves as adults is something we have to be able to do. But on a deeper context this is a culturally traditional food from my home country. So learning how to make foods from different cultures relates to learning about yourself and others through different foods that give us different experiences too. I documented a short clip of this. Podcasts are an interesting form of multi modalities because we are listening to conversations. Podcasts can be for entertainment, education and even a form of therapy. But it can also be social if you are using a platform. ⁃Being able to understand how to care for animals, how to get our food (eggs) is a multimodality
⁃I included the sound of chickens because I think the way they move and how they interact with their noises is a huge component to learning about how to communicate with animals
⁃Humans communicate with animals by understanding their sounds and what they need
