It's Kind of a Funny Story takes a hit at the issues of anxiety through the lens of a New York city High schooler. The author Ned Vizzini has personal experience of staying in a mental hospital which only adds to the intensity of the book.

OCD Love Story tells the story of a girl with OCD but from the perspective of one who doesn't. This outside perspective forces you as a reader to reflect on your own tendencies and opens up your mind to how living with OCD can change your life.
