Our main character is Seth. Seth is a smart young boy but he has a twisted leg from an earthquake. However he is a determined and stubborn in both good and bad ways. 
He is always clamoring about revenge on Nar. He doesn't want to stop that feeling and aggression towards him. My life is similar to Seth in the way that I am not the most athletic kid of the area. People don't often make fun of me though, but like Seth, sometimes I feel like people just keep me around because of my talents.

Seth is an admirable character because he is very perseverant and has a strong will. He persevered through all the bullying from Nar and his friends and still tries to be like a normal person, despite his bad leg. 

He has a strong will because he still wants his father and family to be leader. Even though he has a bad leg, he still wants to fight Nar to give his family the role of leader. I think there are pros and cons to living back then. But even though there are cons, I still would like to live back then. I would do this because life was a lot more in the outdoors and there wouldn't be looming problems like nuclear warfare, global warming, and more. Also there would be no electronics, so no drastic eyesight worsening. Life back then was difficult, but families were closer and had more fun together. I think Friend is good because she didn't attack. She seems to like Seth, and eventually starts trusting Esu and Seth. She even lets them play with her pups, but her closeness to Seth and Esu allowed Nar to get close and kill her. Friend might've lived longer without Seth, so maybe Seth caused her death, but Friend seemed to follow Seth anyways, even if he ended up dooming her.

Do you think Seth and Esu should stay with the tribe or leave the tribe? Why?

I think that they should leave and find a better life. If they stay, they face nothing but pain and more dictatorship from Grunn. Even though they have a higher risk of dying alone in the wild, at least they died freely. Even if they survive at their camp, nothing good will come to them; they did the right thing to leave, as they might find a better life for everyone.

I think that Friend is nor good or bad. I have the feeling that Friend is requesting help from Seth and Esu, and she is lonely. I also agree when Seth says that they're both outcasts.
