Cause after the war they didn't have much money left and more then likely had war debts. And the war probably drained the economy of what they had for weapons and supplies. They could get money from France and Spain as well but they more then likely put a lot of money into the war as well. France and Spain was also at war with Britain and where putting money into their war funds as well. I mean, think for a second. All the world's problems revolve on the sole fact that no one can agree with another person. Our biggest problem is actually the simple fact that most people just can't agree with others. How can a new nation with oh so many opinions, morals, etc. work smoothly with other nations with oh so many opinions. Honestly the only time two nations can adequately work together is if they have a common cause or goal and ally themselves together. But, even then they don't have to actually like each other or remain allies after their goal is achieved.... The last thing that i think would make it hard to establish a country is your money source because you need some way to buy materials that is good with the other country's. Another big problem, allies, would we ally with, my picks would be France, Britain, Israel, Japan and Russia. One more issue, MONEY. How would we get it, would we back it up with gold and silver, would we use the bartering system. Trade, who would we trade with, would we tariff other countries. Military, would we be advanced and fight against the wrong of other countries or would we stay out of it all, and so many other things such as population, religion, and other things.
