Each teacher planned a specific part of the lesson but didn't necessarily go over it ahead of time. They trusted each other in their skills to be able to complete that part of the section. They modeled what they wanted the students to be thinking about by asking questions to each other. They also used the LT by having the students talk about what that meant and then highlighting the key vocabulary words that they will be using in the LT. When it came to the lesson each teacher walked around and helped different students with their problem.

This definition of co-teaching is about both teachers enhancing the instruction. As I ask a question and take some responses Heather asks clarifying questions of the students (this is in regards to the LT).
