         <description><![CDATA[<div>When you are implementing the fluency station for 3rd grade, if you had students that struggle with addition fluency would you add a bucket for addition and multiplication? <br><br>Absolutely.  Many upper elementary students need to become automatic with addition and subtraction facts.  I would have them play many games. </div>]]></description>

         <title>With so many new skills, how would you recommend managing those skills utilizing mini lessons?  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>The mini lesson is the launch.  I would use mini-lessons to start the discussions about the big ideas and then I would follow up with the priority standard lessons in small groups.  You don't teach everything in guided math groups though.  Some of those lessons you just explore in whole group and workstations. </div>]]></description>
