I was born and raised in Boyle heights then moved to Whittier/ Santa Fe Springs.  I'm currently a warehouse manger for a company named LKQ. My duties consist of training our appointed leadership teams as well as new employees. I oversee 3 shifts so my schedule constantly changes depending on what each shift is struggling with. I was in a motorcycle accident a few years ago which changed a lot of my priorities and It made me realize how important my time with my family really is. Work always came first to ensure I was providing for my family but I was never home. I was a Production manager for a clothing company for about 8 years and a bartender at El Rodeo night club and promoted events for Bar 58. I mean she has put up with me for 14 years (long story). My little ones keep my going no matter the day has put me through they are always there to put a smile on my face. Amber my oldest is 11 so, she is nearing that age where I'm longer cool but, embarrassing for sure. She's shy and keeps to her self but, shes also a bit of a smart ass and a jokester. Leah is 8 she is a roller coaster of emotions, most out spoken and the biggest clown. Psychology gives you an understanding as to why people behave the way they do and what causes certain reactions. Psychology gives you the tools needed to understand how the human mind works and how people carry trauma from childhood in to adulthood. I interview applicants every week seeking employment and look at everything from body language, what they are wearing for the interview how well they answer questions and how details they can be explaining procedures. I listen to their explanations and figure out behavioral issues they've had in previous locations. I also manage a large team of employees with different personalities so understanding how each individual operates and thrives is part of my day to day duties.
