We want to lower the cost for solar power so it can be available to a more variety of people around the world. We are saying the price for a solar panel should be around $1 so many people can buy more than one solar panel. We also want to lower the price of installation of solar panels as well this would bring solar power to more people around the world. Being able to provide solar power to people all over the world will allow us to have more energy than we have with nonrenewable resources. In the picture below we want to have African huts with many solar panels to get more energy for the Earth.

What is Solar Energy and how is it helping?

Solar energy or solar power is the way solar panels and other solar items soak up the sun rays and convert the rays into energy for people to use in their daily lives. Solar energy will allow the people to stop using nonrenewable resources since solar is and unlimited resource. This will help keep those materials and also stop disasters like oil spills from happening in our world. Solar energy is used by millions of people all over the world and solar energy has come very far from when it started in around the 1970's. If we got 10% of the world to use solar by 2030 it would be the same as taking 59 million cars off the road. As well as saving fossil fuels which is needed on the day to day base. We need to use solar as a substitute as coal or a natural gas.

What Solar Power is doing in Texas?

“Texas has 250 “quads” of solar energy accessible per year. Given that one quad is one quadrillion British thermal units (BTUs) of energy — enough to meet the annual needs of about 3 million people — Texas’ solar energy potential is enormous.” This quote was taken from a SECO article about Texas renewable energy resources. This article talks about how Solar Energy has changed from the past and how it will impact our future. This SECO article also taught us about how solar energy works with the sun. In the article were graphs showing different parts of the U.S and how their solar energy lines up with the amount of sunlight a day. In Texas we had almost the highest sun ratio in the U.S and also the amount of solar panels in use. With these pieces of evidence we can see the solar power is being put to use and it is working. If it can help a large amount of people with expensive small amounts of solar power, then what would happen if we had more solar power that was less expensive. With evidence from this article we can see that solar power has played a huge part in Texas energy supply.

He claimed that “shining light on an electrode submerged in a conductive solution would create an electric current.” 100 years later, in 1941, Russell Ohl invented the solar cell.

Solar powegr is very important because if we don't find an alternative soon we will have to find a whole new way of life. As said in the Dallas morning news we need to find a new way to save energy or we will have to live a whole new way of life. We need to stop using natural resources before we run out and we need to use solar power on our day to day basis. It's gunna be the source that saves the world. The Dallas morning news puts great emphasis on how this could impact the world today.
