5. After, this is considered a happy experience because of the feeling of relief that is gained During the conclusion.
6. This Brings many newcomers to the horror/suspence genre and keeping fans coming back for more.

  3. The Third Man (1949)- Thought to be one of the best suspense films of all time this movie follows a writer who finds out that his friend is not dead.

They also create suspense by cutting it off right when something happens, a character shares something or someone dies.

  • Some ways that filmmakers create suspense is by giving the characters a little more time to act on the screen before something happens to them
  • Filmmakers use music to make the scene more suspenseful 
  • Filmmakers change the angle of the camera so that the audience needs to focus harder on the scene. Then the audience would be more surprised or scared if something they weren't expecting happened
  • Filmmakers time when they reveal the mystery of the film
  • Alfred Hitchcock makes suspense by manipulating his audience's fears and desires and takes viewers into a state of association with the representation of reality facing the character.
