- Compare and contrast different landscapes through their different landforms.
- Understand how landscapes affect human life and activities.

1. Warm-up:
   

   • Students will log into Nearpod using the tablets set; they will type the lesson code and their names to start.

   • After that, students will read the class declaration to set their minds for the lesson. 

   • Then, they will read and explore the pictures of different landscapes (mountains, valleys, rivers, and coasts).

   • During the lesson, the teacher will ask students, “What do you see? How are they different?”

     
     

2. Explanation:
   
   Present definitions and key characteristics of landscapes.

   • Discuss examples of different landscapes in Colombia shown in the Nearpod presentation.

3. Interactive Activity:
   

   • Use the "Draw It" activity on Nearpod (students label the landforms presented in a picture of a landscape).

   • Have volunteers explain their drawings.

4. Wrap-up (10 min):
   

   • Ask students, “Which landscape do you like the most? Why?”

   • Give a brief preview of the next lesson.

   • Ask students, “How do you think climate affects the landscape?”

   • Assign a small research task: “Find a picture of a Colombian landscape and be ready to talk about it in the next class.”

• Fill-in-the-Blanks Activity: Students complete Nearpod’s "Fill in the Blanks" activity related to Colombia’s landscape diversity.

• Time to climb: Students will play a game inside the nearpod lesson to check their understanding and compete again their classmates. 

• Interactive video: Students will watch a video to see the features of Colombian landscapes. They will interact with the video, answering questions in specific parts of the video.

• Open-Ended Questions: Students respond to Nearpod’s reflective questions:
