I like to read and listen to text at the same time. When listening and reading a long I can highlight important information or tab it. I like to read recipe books and crime non-fiction books. I listen to crime podcasts like unsolved murders.

I prefer to read my text, and the content varies between non-fiction, fiction and more philosophical readings (meditations and things of that nature). I enjoy personal memoirs and meditation books if I’m at the beach and will read fiction(normally Harry Potter) to help me sleep if I am struggling more than usual.

I read with my 2.5 year old. We do a lot of sounding out and letter sounds, but he’s not “reading yet.” Mostly just memorizing on his part. Do the captions on my shows count? 😂

I love to hold an actual book. Autobio and bio of comedians. Dance books. Fiction books that have a fun romantic storyline. Audio books on long drives like Harry Potter series.

I prefer to read an actual book. I don’t have much time to read for fun anymore but I used to enjoy reading mystery novels. I like to do read alouds with my students.
