people own large parts of land that are not even used at all. This is because they are not educated on what to do with the land

ONE is a campaign and advocacy organization of eight million people around the world taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa.
Where are they working: 
they work in other countries but particularly in Africa

Why is it important:

Its important because they are not only fighting poverty they are fighting for injustice and equality. ONE pressures government to do something to fight diseases,empower small-holder farmers to expand access to energy, and to combat corruption.

How is help being offered:

They pressure the government to act on preventable problems going on in their country. some examples of this are..they promote education, they fight preventable diseases, empower woman human rights
