         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wind energy is produced through a process where wind is used to generate electricity. It is a type of renewable energy. Wind turbines are used to convert kinetic wind energy into mechanical energy which can be used to power various machines.<br>Pros:<br>- it is cost effective<br>- is sustainable<br>-  is a clean fuel source<br>Cons<br>- wind turbines may not be the best use of land<br>- turbines may cause noise pollution<br>- may impact local life (birds flying into the turbines)<br><br></div>]]></description>

Water is used to turn the blades of turbines in dams where the kinetic energy is then turned into electricity.<br>Pros:<br>- very versatile (can be used on a large scale or a small scale)<br>- does not generate pollution<br>- it is safe and low risk<br>Cons:<br>- disrupts waterways affecting aquatic organisms<br>- it is expensive<br>- droughts may cause lower energy output</div>]]></description>

The burning of these natural gases produce energy.<br>Pros:<br>- many different uses<br>- cleanest of all the fossil fuels<br>- burns efficiently<br>Cons:<br>- emits carbon dioxide when burned<br>- requires long distance transmission and transportation<br>- has to be stored under high pressure.</div>]]></description>
