         <description><![CDATA[<div>Marshall Field was born on a farm in Conway, Massachusetts&nbsp; on August 18th, 1834. By 21 he was in Chicago&nbsp; Illinois helping his brother by being a dried goods merchant. He quickly excelled in the ranks of the company. He became an entrepreneur who started his own company named "Marshall field and company".
