While the situation is slightly humorous, it reminded me of how quick we are to destroy anything in our path to get where we need to. Maybe getting killed as collateral (by AI perhaps) isn't so far-fetched after all.

Reading The Sixth Extinction was one of the first times I really understood the gravity of the problems we're creating with resulting climate change and disrupted ecosystems.
