The Triple Alliance gained large areas of land by defeating Tepanec. Conquered people should leave their land and if they want to stay, they have to pay taxes, this makes the Triple Alliance's power even stronger. The Triple Alliance divided goods of the lands they conquered, every six months the empire received blankets and large white mantas. The empire continued to expand by taking over other lands and finding new empty places, he gave the Aztecs a new history because he thought they were all lies. Itzcoatl began focusing more on expanding his territory beyond the valley of Mexico.

When the Aztec empire grew, a class system was developed, Itzcoatl gave large areas of land to his allies and friends. Upper and lower classes were strictly divided, and the wealthy and more noble empires were given more land by the emperor. Spanish explorers arrived in the 1500s. All Aztec children went to school, but girls and boys experienced different things, all boys received warrior training while girls were educated for their roles at home. However, the lower classes didn't want to pay taxes and rebelled against the emperor making the Spanish people easier to invade them. The empire fell in 1150 CE.
