In 1933, an emergency hit Germany. There was a fire where the Germany Parliament met, that was later called the Reichstag Fire. The communist where blamed for the fire. A few weeks later, Hitler took rule of Germany from emergency rule. In this time of need, the people needed to look to someone to take over and take care of them. Hitler was there and gained full control. This was a turning point because Hitler officially had complete control over Germany and had freedom to do anything he wanted. This picture shows the fire of the burning of parliament which led to Hitler gaining the emergency rule.

After Hitler came to power he made life for the Jews miserable. He killed many and also created the Nurenberg laws. These laws were passed denying Jews that lived in Germany basic rights. For example, Jews were considered to be non-citizens, Jews were fired from any position of power, and they were segregated from schools. These laws set the Jews back from all of the other groups because of the unfair treatment they were now given.
