There was a fire where the Germany Parliament met, that was later called the Reichstag Fire. The communist where blamed for the fire. A few weeks later, Hitler took rule of Germany from emergency rule. In this time of need, the people needed to look to someone to take over and take care of them. Hitler was there and gained full control. This was a turning point because Hitler officially had complete control over Germany and had freedom to do anything he wanted. This picture shows the fire of the burning of parliament which led to Hitler gaining the emergency rule.

In November of 1938 the German people attacked the Jews business and homes. They broke the glasses and vandalized the Jewish areas. These attacks where violent and permanently destroyed Jewish storefront, temples, and homes. This showed that Hitler had total power socially. This picture shows the broken store fronts from that night.
