Justice like mentioned in the other discussions, it is subjective and thus in my word, Justice is basically the response to what's right and what's wrong. If you approach a conceived wrongdoings by the society by putting it down like putting the wrongdoer to jail, that could also be justice, how it is served. But nowadays in modern society, Justice, or what's right or wrong is defined by power, by the government.
True justice in a prosperous society? No, there is no True justice, it is inevitable that there will be exploitations or unjustified actions happened. In modern society, you see people smiling, laughing, wearing good clothing, etc. But these are all built upon millions and millions of exploitation, oh yes Justice for the minority but there are none that has gone through. Nothing has been done to the exploitations that has happened. Exploits will always happen, you can't get rid of it, the society won't get it rid of it because it benefits them, Justice won't be served even if there are such things as people sympathy towards the minority, "True justice" won't be carried out as it won't benefit any of the large corporation or anyone as that is the foundation of the big big ones, exploitation are what they are built upon.

In my own words, I think that the mean of justice is the concept that trying to show to us the moral or the state of being right which based on ethics and equality. In some situation, people may not receive full rights which mean that whenever there's a thing that happens to them, they will not going to achieve justice. For instance, in the short story, I've read was " The Ones Who Walked Away from Omelas" the child has been trapped in the basement. As we can see that the child has been suffering in the basement because the kid was annoying during the night that people heard the child screaming and crying so it's kind to annoy them. But this isn't the case, the child didn't receive enough rights and it's injustice for the child because it is natural for a child, sometimes they feel happy and sometimes they do cry and it's natural. But the author was trying to show us that it is a utopia that people in the town want to live peacefully and happily. But however, people that live in that town then they believe that they like the child that they are not free, so they decided to leave the country.

Based on what i have seen and learned is that i think justice is basically means that somethings that are being done in order to makes it rights or equal, meaning that when we do something wrong to someone, actions needed to be done in order to makes the victims get back from whatever it is that they have loss. However as we all already know in this world is that there is no such things as true justice as it's something that can never be truly achieve or given. in the modern society is that this apply in most of the situation that the minority are in because as we know is that no matter where it is in the world everyone would just be biased towards the higher rank in the society or someone who's has more power and money. if we talk about the people who are in the lower class then we know for sure that they won't be able to get the justice that they deserve. if we take a look at the story that we just read "The Ones Who Walked Away from Omelas" is that as we can see is this story when the child is trapped in the based and the place like to live in peaceful however because of the children screaming and crying they decided to leave the country because they finds it to be annoying, and this is clearly unjust towards the kids.

(Explanation): Based on my understanding that I've been through the lesson, I would say justice is a fair solution for the people and it's an accurate situation to search for the effective evidence so that we are able to solve the problems effectively. Another word, I would say justice is what we need in order to make thing equal and to make sure that we all deserve fairness and equal rights to live our life in world where people treat others with respect. Without justice people would have just live their life as an wild animals without understanding the empathy of a human being. The society is full of corruption, racism, bullying, insulting. There will be no solution for the people. That is why justice plays a significant role in the society in order to have an equal rights for all men, and women including an adult, teenager, and children.

The word of justice is the concept of rightness. Justice is morally fair and right state of everything. To have justice as a person's character trait means that they are just and treat everyone the same, or how they would like to be treated. For instance in the reflect on how this modern society views/treats justice. from the crime Samantha Johnson did (tortured and murdered innocent person) - unjust because she dont get a life sentence which got a warranted from the help of lawyer. And Junko Furata - unjust action because the aggressors are now free (served in prison only for 8-20 years) when they did something that is very horrify which is injustice for the victim that died. Also from Kem Lay - unjust because likely killer never found, no real investigation which is very injustice there no serious investigation which is really injustice for the victim. All of this action that they did and the charge that they get is injustice for the victims so the society is not really a justice place based on this evidence.

From my words, Justice Is something fair and right. If you have committed a crime then you will face the charges for the crime that you’ve committed. Justice is like karma, you will receive something for what you do. For example, if you have done something right then you will receive something good like if you donate money to someone then that person will think good of you, on the other hand If you commit something bad such as stealing items from a store, then you will have to face the charges if you are found out. Justice isn't always fair, it can be unfair due to many reasons such as corruption (A corrupt Judge giving a lighter sentence to the criminal due to the Judge receiving money or so), manipulation (The government forcing the people to believe something and think make the people think that the government's decision is just), and people's different view on the Judgement system.

[explain] Can there be true justice in a prosperous society, or is exploitation (like in “The Ones who Walk Away…) inevitable?
[perspective]: Justice is when a case or situation between others are serve correctly to the standard that they should have, for example when you murder someone and run away with it, it would not be justice but if you were to get sentenced to 10+ years in prison, then that would be justice. I don’t think that there could be true justice in a prosperous society, because in order for a society to be prosperous here must be some injustice within the society. We can take a look at Rome for example, the Roman empire was able to became a prosperous society due to numerous factors: Military expansion drove economic development, bringing enslaved people and loot back to Rome, which in turn transformed the city of Rome and Roman culture. Bring enslave people back to the country is not true justice but in order for a country to grow this was needed. In a lot of country today, a lot of prosperous country still have a lower class people in order to support the society system and that’s why I claim there won’t be prosperity society with true justice, one have to go for the other to became valid.

When it comes to the topic of 'justice' that has dated to the past ancient society until now, we still find it difficult to understand what is justice because when we define justice, its have to include the word 'fairness' and apply the 'principle of morality' all together to form a justice for something under different circumstances. Can justice be true in a society? Can justice serve society as a prosperity fairytale? Is exploitation inevitable? Yes, if we say it from our mouth easily, justice can be served fairly when in a form of a democratic society where all citizen has the right to make a decision. Justice can serve society with prosperity and equality if everyone were to be educated in the form of morality. Taking justice as a representation for a prosperous society would be too sensitive because, without both of our eyes closed, we could see all the possible forms of injustice in every society that has been long for centuries where monarchs and groups of oligarch born. Like in 'The Ones Who Walk Away' by Ursula K. Le Guin shows the perspective where justice can't be inevitable with the serves of exploitation that the society continues to do. The city of Omelas starts with a nearly perfect fairytale that we could imagine ourselves living in this beautiful world full of prospered environment and accessibility within freedoms. It's almost a utopia as it beyond what we could expect in real life, but when it comes to seeing the darkness of the society exploitation over the child under the basement which shows the crucial part of the society. When you knew what happened in this society, you would walk away without leaving a footstep because this society serves itself with good prospered things that had come from the ugliest story of child exploitation that we wouldn't want to hear it. This is why it comes to the tragic question: Do you still believe in a society with prosperity? Do believe in society exploitation over the dark side of certain levels?

To achieve justice is like being able to achieve perfection, But at the same time, Most of us would come to agree that there is no such thing as perfection in it's entirety too because true perfection in itself is also not perfect. If everything were to be perfect then, Wouldn't it be boring because we would have nothing to feel better upon and just like the definition of right or wrong. If everything were to be right then how do even define wrong in the first place which is why I think that we could all safely assumed that justice is diverse and can be identified in many ways, But it could never be achieved as one singular truth because there is no such thing as one truth and that right and wrong must be able to coexist so that justice can still be determined to some resemblance. I believed that true Justice in itself is unattainable at least based on the human logic and rationale today, however that doesn't mean that the idea of trying to reach it is not. For example: Just like we are trying to reach up and grab the distant stars, We may never reach it in our life times. But the idea of wanting to grasp and pursue it inspired us and others after us to keep advancing and always progressing to be better. Justice is just like that and just with idea of wanting to attain it is enough to drive us to make better judgements, inspiration and be a role model for so many others whether we know it or not. Justice should be judge based on a strong morale of good and bad. Someone who practice justice should be able to discern their action with others and know the consequences of it all. We must make judgment not solely based on logical approaches, But all of the other things that makes us humans which are sincerity, clarity and so on. Right or wrong will always exist because that is the way of life and how we are able to protect ourselves and others from dangers to themselves and others which is why it must be respected and understood just as much for it's worth and always inspired the rest in our society along the way too. Justice can be prosperous in a utopian society, however it may not be a justice system that you would wanted, but It would be one that you need. On the other hand, Exploitation of the justice system would always be an option as it is in our nature to do so. Just like with story of ''The ones who walk away'', It is indeed possible. But we wouldn't really be that proud enough to say what the future will holds for us. Maybe with time, Our logical thinking and thought patterns may begins to shift and take a turn for the better or worst and with it, Our definition of Justice could be different too which is why I cannot say for certain what sort and types of justice will exist for us, But what I do know is that either way is possible and we must learn to consider it as an option for us always and learn from it just like all things.

Justice to me means that each person is treated fairly, no person is above the law nor is anyone subjected to additional punishment for who they are. Justice means that consequences for violating the rules of society are appropriate due to the violation being done. In our society, justice is not always given to the people rightfully because of corruption or misunderstanding. So even in a prosperous society, there is still no true justice. Even though there are laws and regulations, justice for most of the majority is still unachievable in our society, mainly because there are corruptions, racisms, bullying, violence, and poverty in our society. There are always two sides to a story and usually, the truth is always ignored and people usually only judged one-sided of the story without knowing the whole truth. It is always too late when the truth is revealed, the victim is either serving in prisons for something they did not do or they either get killed or suffered. Justice for the majority is not achievable because of the systems and the problems that we have in society. For instance, based on the story of 'The Ones who Walk Away from Omelas', a child is being held prisoner in a small, dark basement room in Omelas. The child is left alone in the basement except for very brief intervals when other people come to leave food and water. Although the child begs for release, it is always ignored. It is kept naked and is covered in sores. The residents of Omelas learn about the existence of the child when they seem old enough to understand the situation. They are taken to see the child, and they always react with disgust and shock. However, they are told that if the child is freed, the society of Omelas will collapse, and everything that is good about the city will disappear. Most of the residents accept the situation and the child's unhappiness for their own happiness. From the story, we can see that justice or fairness is never there for the child, to begin with, the child did not get treated fairly and was kept in the basement in the darkness for a long time. Even though, the child begging to be released, it always gets ignored by other people because they believed that if the child is freed the city will collapse. This shows that even if the people know the truth about the horrible things that they did to the child, they chose to ignore it for their own happiness. The same goes for our current society, if something is kept untold for our own happiness or desire, no one would be brave enough to speak up or reveal the secrets or the truths to others because it won't do them any goods and it will just affect them directly. This is why justice is not mainly attainable for the majority in our society.

In my perspective, justice is when everyone is treated equally and fair based on law and ethics. I don’t think there is any true justice in a prosperous society because humans can be naturally selfish and have a different perception and opinion of what is right or wrong. Based on law in the society, right or wrong is judge by the violation an individual did to others. However, even in a prosperous or an utopian society, with a set of rule and law for their citizen to follow, justice is still not fully served for everyone. Mostly, they treated each other unequally and unfair due to their social status, races, gender, etc. Besides, due to the social status in some society, many people are mistreated and wealthy people get to live a better lives while the poor are put at faults and no justice are served for them as there are corruption, racism, exploitation, etc. For example, in the story “The Ones who Walk Away” which is the imagination of a perfect society with happiness which has a concept that there won’t be happiness without suffering. Children must extremely suffer and tortured in exchanged with the other citizen’s joy and happiness. People in Omelas are able to live even though they aware that the child in the basement is suffering because they are living a happy life so they just selfish and care about themselves without considering the people who are suffering and hurt at all. This story displays an injustice and inhumanity in the society as justice is not served and everyone is not treated equally but it shows the true color of the society that people are afraid to reveal the true because they choose their own happiness and joy and let another groups of people suffer alone.

In my opinion, Justice is each of us were treated fairly, no power or fortune that affect to the judgement. I would say nowadays, our society didn't have true justice due to the needed and requirement of people. People get to be selfish whenever they want something that they always graving for it. It has low possibility that people would sacrifice their happy life for someone who suffer since no one want to suffering so everything that they did is for themselves to be happier, no matter how bad the action is, they still decide to complete in order to make their life perfect. This is our real society so it can be predictable, however, in a prosperous society, the absent of true justice is still exist because although people live in such a utopian, their mind still the same as the more they in love and comfort with the society they live, the more they trying to protect their current situation so whether it affect to anyone, they just don't care about it and mind only their happiness. For instance: In "The one who walk Away", Omela is such an ideal society, it is the society that provide unconditional of happiness to citizens however, behind those perfect scene of society, it contain suffering of children those who need to stay in basement full of darkness and naked, with knowing that freeing them will destroy Omela, instead of freed the children, they decide to continue this suffering for children and enjoy their life in the their perfect world. Throughout this story, there's no such a thing called true justice, whoever weak, they are defeated because only power that will keep in high position as in the end, people still choose themselves out of everyone so when selfish remain, injustice also remain.

True justice can be achieved, unless if equality is happening in society occurred because if to reflect on the modern day society base of the way of people treating each other, true justice will not be happening because of how some hated others regarding their race, skin and color. Even if Laws has been established for everyone in a society, still inequality is still happening for most people out there and there's nothing that we can do about it, unless if the society is supporting or promoting everyone to start loving and caring each other as an act of one humanity. For example : in the story "The Ones who Walk Away", it shows that their idea and goal of having a perfect society can be never achieve can never be achieved while children are being tortured and suffering. While the citizen are living with joy and happiness. People in Omelas are living because of torturing their children in the basement and selfish themselves for happiness. So this is one example of equality right there, where some get to enjoy their living and some don't. All in all, in order for true justice to exist is unless if everyone is equal and live their life happily without any problem between humanity.
