How are you? Please come in and sit down, I am tired, when I arrived, I immediately took off my work uniform and put on comfortable clothes. I want to talk to you for a while, after my long workday, but first we get into my car to buy some things. Can you wait for me in the car for 10 minutes and take care of my dog? While I enter the supermarket, there I pick up some fruits and drinks and come back quickly, I invite you to dinner today. Know? My doctor wants me to reduce my consumption of sweets and fatty foods. This weekend we can meet with my parents to have a healthy barbecue, I hope you like the idea.

Just wanted to drop you a line and catch up on what's been going on with you lately. I've been swamped with work, but I finally managed to carve out some time to relax this weekend. I'm thinking of heading out to the countryside to unwind. Maybe we could catch up over a cup of coffee or something stronger if you're up for it.

Anyway, let me know if you're free, and we can figure something out. It's been way too long since we last hung out, and I miss our chats. We could grab a bite to eat at that new restaurant everyone's been raving about, or maybe even go for a hike if the weather holds up.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

It’s been a long time since we last talked to each other, and I wish we hadn’t fallen out.

This is an update on what’s been going on with our family lately.

John has proposed to his girlfriend at last – they’ve been going out for five years! She gets on well with everybody, and our family loves her!

Sadly, Mary has broken up with Steve and is trying to move on now. She has taken up a new hobby – dancing – and started learning French.

She is very stubborn – she really takes after her father. We’re hoping that maybe Steve and Mary will make up and get back together one day.

Little Denny has grown up so much – you wouldn’t recognize him! This is a photo of his from the Halloween party – he’s dressed up as a black cat.

I miss you so much and hope you will come round to spend some time with us after the new year.

Just wanted to touch base and see how you're holding up. I know life's been crazy with work and all, but I'm here if you need to let off steam or touch base.
