The John Lewis advert is synonymous with a wholesome and heart-warming story which appeals to all ages. It could be argued that the use of Lily Allen's song was an important for her building her star image. Whilst Allen was known typically for her rebellious nature at the time, by aligning herself with the family friendly advert, this meant that the publics potentially negative perception of her was challenged.

This further supports Allen's 'real and 'honest' image as the article looks at nepotism from an the angle of the child, an angle that is not typically considered, perhaps because of its sensitive nature. This could be because arguably the article could be perceived as tone deaf. Some may believe that she fails to acknowledge that many are not as fortunate as her, and consequently support the typical image of entitlement within children of nepotism. 

Harbour's huge success in the series Stranger Things has meant that he has amassed a large following worldwide, and especially in the US. The marriage is advantageous to Lily Allen's star image as his relevance means there is an appeal from the younger generation, which brings the potential for new young fans for Allen.

Allen has begun to transition from music into acting and her respect as a new actor is aided by her husbands acting credibility. She is seen around elite acting circles due to him and is therefore making a name for herself in those spaces, and then consequently landing new and exciting acting roles.
