         <description><![CDATA[<div>One fascinating thing is when the two kids were helping each other read. In the earlier years children needed the assistance of adults to read everything, but as they get older they become more independent. In the video the mixed kid seemed to be ahead of his level in reading compared to the black kid. I can concur that the zone of proximal development improves ability to learn faster for some kids.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I learned that scaffolding has always been used for younger kids. Now when I think back when I was a kid my teachers did use a lot of big words. I noticed in the video how the teacher used big words such as resolution and setting. Teachers do this to expand the kid's knowledge but more importantly to make them better learners .&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
