         <description><![CDATA[<div>We have a 40 minute protected time 4x week for Tier 2 instruction that includes 5 small groups in our Lit Lab as well as SGI in the classroom. Lit Lab Tier 2 focuses on phonics, fluency, and comprehension while classrooms focus on subjects with most need (math or ELA.)&nbsp; Tier 3 SGI is provided for 2nd through 6th by Lit Lab as well with a frequency of 4x week.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We will focus on a K-3 literacy lab as well as a 4-6 Walk to Intervention.  These Interventions will have a math or reading by semester or quarters.  SEI will have a 1 hour daily intervention in grades 1-3.  A master teacher will mentor the classroom teacher during this time and plan so the work can be transferred to the entire day.  </div>]]></description>

In addition, we are implementing PLCs to examine student work and analyze class tasks.&nbsp; This will help our teachers in identifying students who need interventions and/or enrichment.&nbsp; Over the year, we will plan for ways to marry school-wide intervention time to the existing Tier 2/3 structure to prepare for the 18-19 school year.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We have WIN time built into every grade level schedule daily, gr K-8.&nbsp; All interventionists and SpEd team will be available to push in for intervention groups at each grade level.&nbsp; Tier groups will be determined by use of assessment data and daily classroom data collection.&nbsp; Teams will meet weekly to&nbsp;set up groups, keeping them fluid and moving students as needed.  The Program Coach will supervise the process and assist teams as needed.  Administration will support this plan by attending team meetings and visiting classrooms during WIN time.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our current model of Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention, including the use of paraprofessionals, Reading Interventionist, and classroom teachers during a grade level intervention block, has been a successful model for our school.  However, we are working to refine and improve the quality of the intervention and instruction during the intervention block as well as the level of accountability and monitoring of student growth.  We are also exploring ways to build teacher capacity, particularly in understanding individual student needs.  </div>]]></description>

Math and reading interventionists push in/pull out - depending on grade level- daily for K-3. Interventionists push into SEI classrooms k-8 on Wednesday to support. Volunteers assigned to classrooms k-8 to read with students, run small groups, etc. 7/8 teachers pull small groups to reteach based on exit tickets data&nbsp;in the afternoon. Intervention blocks scheduled for k-8.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Continue AM meetings with each grade level to review student data and plan for RTI blocks. Each grade level will continue a common 40 minute RTI block of time. Literacy Lab will utilize volunteers and extra staff members (i.e. instructional assistants, specials teachers, Oasis tutors, and parents, etc.) to meet the intervention needs of individual and small groups of students outside of the Reading and RTI times. Students gifted in any area will go to a gifted resource block 4 times per week. Quantitative gifted students will attend a replacement math class one grade level above. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We have an intervention scheduled for all grades everyday.  In grades K - 3 Tier 2/3 AIS reading intervention is pre-scheduled  to align with their intervention time.  Grades 4 - 6  each have a special area teacher assigned to assist in their intervention time 4 out of 6 days.  We are planning to utilize the intervention planning worksheets from today (GREAT JOB!).  Targeting of students will be done after pre-assessments are completed.  THANKS for the ideas of the three week startup model.</div>]]></description>
