Youth workers, continuously, have to face the impact that the daily mistreatment suffered by young people have in their
lives. This mistreatment comes from different social oppression (unemployment, economic background, belonging to a
minority, etc.), academic or working difficulties. As youth workers, we need to be aware and have a deep understanding
of the opportunities and obstacles. Situation with COVID-19 made life of young people even more complicated. Project
partners discussed existing problems and how to challenge them. One of main opportunity to help young people is
training with the aim to get efficient entrepreneurship skills and self-employment. Partners would like to support
reconstruction of Europe affected by COVID-19 by initiating, motivating and coaching new business started by young
people, particularly for youth with fewer opportunities. Partners choose inclusion and diversity as horizontal priority
because will have focus on young people with health problems, disabilities, social and economical obstacles, they will be
final beneficiaries. Trained youth workers will promote sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship includion social
entrepreneurship for this target group and this is one of the priorities of Erasmus+ Programme in youth sector. Partners
plan to support young people and youth workers with new materials and create E-Handbook "Entrepreneurship skills as
path to efficient inclusion in the society" for daily work with the aim to motivate and train youth to work in virtual
environment. Partners will also create Guide-book about the possibilities to develop a start-up and own business, mostly
in digital environment. Both project results will include good practices and new materials and tools created by partners.
Partners plan also to organise training for youth workers and provide them with methods and tools using non-formal
education methods and experiential learning with focus on the development of entrepreneurial skills. This will stimulate
learning process of youth workers who will train potential entrepreneurs in their communities and support them to develop
their full potential as entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs. Project will strengthen the synergies between both
educational fields - formal and non-formal - in fostering innovation, new skills, a sense of initiative and entrepreneurial
mind-sets, competences and skills which can involve and/or lead to the launch of new services, products and prototypes,
and the creation of start-ups and spin-offs. Virtual cooperation and experimentation with virtual learning opportunities will
be key to success of this project. Partners will use the European Youth Portal and the European Youth Strategy Platform
to work together before, during and after the project activities. Partners will stimulate a sense of initiative and
entrepreneurial attitudes, mind-sets and skills in youth workers and young people, in line with the Entrepreneurship
Competence Framework (EntreComp) and other EC documents.
