Claim and Reasoning: This is CC because you don't expect an innocent little girl who's  done nothing wrong to not be able to do every day base things that we can do.

Answer to Anchor Question: It appears that Melody has a disability and she is in a wheel chair and cant do nothing that we can do. She is in a disability class trying to learn stuff,she is like a Guinness in her head but she cant say what she is  thinking.  

Literary Element: This might help me to understand one  meaning  of the book. I think the meaning/theme is " you can do anything as long as you believe in your self " and it helps me under stand because on one of the pages she learns how to spell out words from her paper on her wheel chair so she can communicate with others.

Literary Element: This might help me to understand something that might happen in the future maybe something that means a lot to melody  

Claim and Reasoning: This is am because,she figures out that she had a disability and she wasn't like the other kids and other kids don't look like her.

Answer to Anchor Question: It appears, she finely realized that she has something that no one else has.And it makes her mad because, she knows everything the others do, but, she cant say it.

Literary Element: This might help me to understand that, melody can be really smart but, she has to keep all of her thoughts in her head not because she wants to, but because she has to.

Literary Element: The ways how all people are different, and  and i think later in the   book, she will find someone with the same disability she has, and shell understand that some people are having the same issues shes having.

Literary Element: This might help me to understand  that the  kids in the book should be thankful for what they have, even the small things like talking. All these people make fun of her because she cant do the basic things we can she cant even warn someone that she cant feed  herself.

Claim and Reasoning: this is  WW because, Mrs. V is telling melody that she doesn't have to be able to do stuff for people to like her, that she is perfect just the way she is.

Literary Element: This might help me to understand  that being yourself is grate, and that melody should be happy the way she is, and that there are lots of people who love her just the way she is.
