I am going to print off what goals each child is working on so I can be more intentional about what to observe. Also, while observing and documenting do more fact-base instead of opinion based.

my lead teacher often helps and gives me objectives to look for in the classroom. I also use Intentional Teaching cards which help me plan fun activities with the children in a small group therefore through the activities provided on those cards help me find the documentation I am looking for.

Do more objective documentation during work time, large group and meal time, be more fact based on the children instead of just feelings. Having many more open ended questions can help with these observations.

This coming week I’m going to get together with my lead teacher and discuss expectations and plans for documentation. I will use documentation to help create a holistic view of each child’s strengths and weaknesses so we know how to individualize our lessons to help every child succeed.

I like to keep a mini notebook on me at all times and write the name, date, and what was said or done. Whenever I see an example, I document it and it's super convenient. This week I will bring the kids to the table and do a small group and see if the kids can all meet a milestone. Kind of like a checklist.

as a CA this can become difficult to help with as I am so in and out of the classroom. I like to keep just some sticky notes and a pen with me when I am in the classrooms so that if I see or hear something that I am able to write this down and give to the teacher in that classroom.

Will talk to my head teacher about what to look for during art small group. Finding out the main objective for each art project she has us do and collecting whatever documentation she needs me to. Writing that down on paper and talking to her about it at the end of the day.
