In the begging of the 1990s players didn't have any specific uniform for basketball players. Football game was out of rugby game, therefore, the first football uniform in 1890’s was rugby’s-type uniform. The uniform was made by cotton or wool without padding. Usually the sweaters was made by wool because the game played outside in the cold. Then, the game developed and the first material chosen for padding the football sweaters was the leather. In 1901, shoulder pads were produced and were made by heavy leather.

Nowadays, football uniforms developed so much to t-shirt and shorts. There are many worries that the uniforms slow the players down, so, teams made uniforms that made by pollster to be stretchy and light. Also, Color uniforms become more important and teams began to use brighter colors in their outfits that includes numbers for each player.

Through the 20th century to today, tennis has been a very popular sport world widely. 

The fact that early on in the sport women and men played tennis together added a romantic dimension to it. Therefore, the early tennis fashion for men was trousers and T-shirts and women was long dresses with coresets all made of heavy wool.  This uniform was not practical for tennis players especially in hot weather. Tennis uniforms have changed many times over the years. Today, tennis uniforms are very different. 

Many fashionable tennis styles came up because the uniform companies like Nike and Adidas collaborating with players of different backgrounds to appeal to a wider customer base than the traditional country club set. Eventually tennis uniforms changed today in to silky and cotton, white only, sleeveless short cloth. Dresses, shirts and skirts are used for ladies, and t-shirts and shorts are used for men. Both genders use headbands. 

Over time, freedom of movement became appreciated. The uniform became lighter and showed more of the body. Tennis uniform is accepted as a suitable sport cloth for everyone now.

Gradually, people started to wear athletic outfits such as cotton short pants and t-shirts. Each player wore what he could get for himself which make it difficult to differentiate between a team and another. Athletic shoes still were an option. 

Then by 1960's athletic uniforms were published and a single uniform was chosen for each team. That was made of light and synthetic fabric that doesn't absorb much water and doesn't get heavy when it becomes wet to meet the player needs. Long socks were also added to the uniform and they are so special to provide some protection for the knees and legs. Athletic shoes are now a must with high specifications specially for football players.

You can notice the big differences in team uniforms if you compare your grandpa team photo with your dad photo and ofcourse yours. You can notice also the amount of comfortably players got. Today every team has its own look with their chosen color and style of fashion.
