Multicellular organisms perform sexual reproduction because it’s an evolution to create genetic variation in the population, and they would create different offspring instead of identical offspring so it would be more difficult for their species to die out because they grew strong and were able to fight against any bacteria that would be harmful towards them

Some people are stronger than others so they can pass their genetics down to the next generation. Not only that some people can carry mutations that you wouldn’t get in asexual reproduction that can help fight off new diseases.
