Milestone - By the beginning of term 4, I aim to be prepared to perform for Infinite Echo along with my friends and be able to play some songs as a group.

Practice - I intend to practice my songs at least 2 - 3 times a week on top of practicing with my group members every Monday lunch.

Anticipate Obstacles - If my exam practice ends up clashing with my band song practice time, then I'll have to focus more on my exam while still learning the songs for my group.

Check in Plan - At the first check in I intend to have learnt our first song well, by the second our next song and the last have learnt our third song.

Transfer - At the end, I will be able to see my growth in engaging in partnerships as I will be able to work better with my peers to achieve a collective goal.

• I've improved my skills in working in groups and improving with playing my songs in groups. Previously I was not good at playing with group members but now I have improved my skills for playing in groups instead of just playing by myself and having everyone lock into me I am able to adjust myself slightly to try and match the others if we are falling out of sync.

How would you critique the strategies you used so far? Which would you recommend continue and which would you abandon.

• I will be continuing to practice the songs by myself in my own time at home and I would have to see how far we are progressing in the song and go from there. So far the strategies are working for me.

Based on feedback, how would you design a new plan for future check ins to assist your growth.

• I will likely continue with what I am doing currently. I am currently doing 30 minutes of practice a day and so far I am progressing at a good pace in my first song.

• My routine is currently mostly comprehensive and encompasses everything that I will need for my practice of the songs.

Are you considering any tangents to your goal for example other musical stuff that you might want to adjust for based on interests?

• As of currently I'm not particularly interested in other instruments especially due to difficulty in playing them due to the shape of my hands, playing instruments that require precise finger movements is quite difficult. However, I am interested in eventually learning more music theory especially as it will help with playing in bands more.

What are any concerns that you have in achieving the goal of winning infinite echo?

• I am mostly concerned about having enough time for each of our group members to be able to fully learn our songs. Even if most of us learn our parts, if one person hasn't learnt their part then it will be very difficult for us to be able to perform the song as we won't be ready.

• Overall I'm pretty satisfied with my role in Infinite Echo and I believe that it went relatively well. We were able to perform well together. I was able to play my component of the song well along with keeping the rest of the group in time.

What songs do you think you will want to practice next, what techniques do they use that you want to work on?

• In the future I'm interested in practicing more metal songs. I am interested in learning how to use a double kick however without the proper equipment that wouldn't be possible. Instead of double kicks, I would like to learn more fast songs with interesting fills and patterns.

Since your goal encompasses working with other people, what aspects of working with other people do you need to work on, such as finding time to practice, directing other people to learning their parts etc

• In the future, I feel that I have to work on assisting in helping people with their own parts of the song. Even if I know my part perfectly, if there is even one person who isn't capable of playing the piece, then the entire band can't move forward. For this reason, I wish to learn at least basics around music theory in order to be able to help my group members out.
