Most people simply throw away the excess oil from their meals in the dishwasher, contributing to water contamination and this is because they do not know how or who to turn to for disposal.

An oil collection center in the city would help people to be more aware and contribute to conserving the environment, providing a good future for our next generations.

Having an educational program where we teach since a young age how to separate garbage for recycling, would help generate awareness to preserve the environment.

People are not aware and throw garbage where it does not belong, either in the streets, parks or classifying it in places where it should not be introduced, this causes garbage to accumulate, creates pollution, bad aspect in society and all damage to the environment.

 

What is a recycling center for?

In some organic plants, 30 tons of material are processed every day from an exclusive collection circuit of 80 stores, including restaurants, food courts, hospitals and hotels. The waste is selected by operators on a conveyor belt, decomposed for 12 days in a bioreactor, and stocked for three or four weeks to finish ripening. The result is organic amendment, which is used as a fertilizer in squares and parks. The process begins with the separation at source of the garbage, where the trucks of the city go to look for it.

In Mexico is common that there are garbage trucks and them are used by people who its job is collect garbage that we collect in our homes, but when garbage collectors throw it in the garbage trucks the garbage that you tried to separate its mixed.

Probably it can be a fantasy, but i think that nowadays with the new technologies, we can desing smart garbage trucks and those can keep separate the garbage or it can separate automatically the garbage. We have been told all of our lives that we need to recycle because it´s good and it will help the planet, but do we really do it? 
All though that we are giving that advices since we are little there is still a lot of people that don´t recycle, either because they don´t want to do it or because they don´t know how to do it. But another problem that we actually have is that even the people that actually recycles doesn´t really know where to take all that stuff and they decide to leave it to the trash truck but at the end they take it with the garbage so it doesn´t gets recycled.
By creating a recycling center we actually give people more reasons to recylce and also we give them the place to take everything that they have been recylcing in ther homes.
