         <description><![CDATA[<div>the Asian long horned beetle is an invasive species that has no natural predators in north america. it was introduced in the 1990's. the adults lay eggs in hardwood trees (like maple trees) and the larvae travel through the living tissues of the tree  stopping the flow of nutrients and water, killing the tree. the beetles are not affected by insecticides so the trees need to be cut down and burnt. they easily move around in firewood and untreated lumber. Also because there are less hardwood trees, that can have terrible consequences in Ontario's biodiversity.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>another interaction is done in food chains or food webs. a food chain is a visual used to show how organisms get energy. one example of a food chain is when the grass get energy from the sun, a grasshopper eats the grass taking some of the energy, then a mouse eats the grasshopper, and finally an owl eats the mouse. in this example the grass is a producer, the grasshopper is a primary consumer, the mouse is a secondary consumer and the owl is the tertiary consumer.</div>]]></description>
