Price is just a  value made of a bunch of numbers. 

Why should we use price to judge the love in gifts? It’s basically like saying “the number of my gift is very high so I shall like this gift.”

We’re humans, not machines. We don’t think in numbers, we think with our own thoughts.

Life is about connection and happiness. The price spent on a gift shouldn’t be a representation of how much love was put into giving it.

We should judge the gift by the thought put into them. if we put thought into a gift, it should suffice.

It shows that the person has gone through the effort of thinking about what you would like to get or what they think would bring you some happiness.

Thought of the gift outweighs the price.

It might be hard to be happy with a small card which says “Happy birthday” and a nice letter, compared to having your own rolex or headphones.
