      <description>Tom has been diagnosed with a Learning Disability. His verbal and visual thinking abilities are very well developed and in the &#39;gifted&#39; range. However, he has poor fine motor control and he has a SEA claim for a laptop. His memory is weak and although he studies for tests and exams, he often performs poorly. He often comes to class unprepared and seems generally disorganized. Tom also has poor self-advocacy skills. How could you set up your classroom to support his needs and tap into his potential? What supports are essential for his success?  </description>
