In the story Gloria finds a tin box filled with money in a Old Sea Chest she is shocked a is determined to find out why the tin box is filled with money. She knows that her grandma wasn't wealthy so where did she get it from? First thing she does is that she goes to uncle Rogers house because he got the chest before they did so when they asked, he said that he didn't open the tin box because he thought it was sewing supplies. In her attic she found a mysterious iron chest,Gloria then opened the chest and found a few photos,a thimble,and a tin box. In the box there was a lot of money! But Gloria knew that her grandmother wasn't that wealthy, so where did all the money come from? Gloria was determined to find out! Then Gloria asked her mom where it came from,she said that her Uncle Roger was the last one to have the tin box. Uncle Roger said that he was storing it for Gloria's grandmother. But Uncle Roger thought it was just sewing supplies, Gloria was frustrated,but she didn't give up. She was then thinking who else knows about the money,she then thought that her Aunt Jean might know. So she visited her Aunt Jean,when she got to her Aunt's house she opened the box and her face grew sad.
