If everyone lived like me, we would need 4.2 Earths, and my Earth Overshoot Day would be March 26. This shows that many of our daily habits are not sustainable. I think this has affected the world through pollution, climate change, and the overuse of natural resources. It also relates to the COVID pandemic, because that time showed how human actions can affect both the environment and our lives. These results made me think more about the changes I should make in my daily routine.

I recently took the Global Footprint Network quiz, and the results were a huge wake-up call. I was shocked to learn that my lifestyle requires considerable resources, so many that if everyone lived like me, we would need four Earths. Since we only have one planet, this really worried me and motivated me to start making changes at home to preserve our resources.

The COVID-19 pandemic was a difficult time for humanity, but it gave nature a much-needed break. During the lockdowns, the planet had a chance to recover, and we even saw a significant improvement in the ozone layer. This experience showed me how important it is to take better care of our environment.

It forces me to confront the way I move through and the kind of world I believe in. I can't completely detach myself from responsibility. My lifestyle and my choices, even my creative practice exist within and contribute to these dynamics. As someone interested in art and critical thinking, I feel a tension: how can I question structures of value and visibility while still being encased in them?

My result of needing 5.7 Earths is especially concerning because it reflects an unsustainable way of living. It is linked to habits such as high consumption, transportation that produces pollution, and strong dependence on energy. This not only harms the environment but also contributes to global problems like climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.

If we connect this to the sanitary contingency during the COVID-19 pandemic, we can notice something important. During that time, many human activities decreased, such as travel, industrial production, and consumption. As a result, pollution levels and carbon emissions temporarily dropped. This shows that our daily actions have a direct impact on the environment and that reducing our ecological footprint is possible if we change our habits.

In conclusion, my results make it clear that I need to make important changes in my lifestyle to be more sustainable, because if everyone lived like me, the planet would not be able to support it.

Excellent work on this reflection. You have clearly identified the gap between our current consumption patterns and the planet's biocapacity. I was particularly impressed by your observations on how external factors—like the COVID-19 pandemic or local cultural attitudes—shape our environmental impact. Your ability to analyze the complexity of 'habit-changing' shows a high level of maturity. Moving forward, I encourage you to keep looking for those 'small wins' in daily life that can eventually lead to a more sustainable footprint.
