         <description><![CDATA[<div>The act of grounding means to redirect any distracting thoughts that prevent you from being present. For instance, you ever have that moment when you are listening to a friend and it becomes hard to pay attention because you are thinking about something completely different? That is a signal that you aren't fully present. Practicing mindfulness, like grounding yourself, can pull you back into the moment with your friend again.  <br><br>When I feel this way, I breathe in deeply and do a quick "body scan" to identify if I am feeling tense anywhere. I also like to make sure my feet are planted firmly to the ground. </div>]]></description>
