Geological processes are events that occurs that has the power to make subtle and obvious or slow and unseen changes beneath or above the earth’s surface. Its role is to shape the structure of the earth, and make features and events that can be beneficial or harmful to us humans. Its importance is relying on making the planet earth habitual to us humans. In addition, agricultural purposes are more common examples. These are conservation of soil and increase of soil productivity.

B. The possible events that occurred in a certain area based on the rock layers found there in or based on the pictures you have captured.

The events that probably occurred in our photos are Weathering, Water Erosion, and Mass weathering, specifically landslides.

C. What could happen in the future as the tectonic plates continue to move and how will it change your place.

In the future, tectonic plates will keep on moving, creating more and more land formation, break down existing landmass, or even colliding or submerging in one another. Earthquakes and Volcanic eruptions would also frequently occur as tectonic plates constantly moves. Research also says that it can be possible that the continents of earth will again collide into one super continent. As for our place or our current position, it’s possible that countries or continents that are far away from our vicinity will be closer than before.

Many prominent features on Earth have been formed by geological processes. Plate tectonics, for example, is a process that shapes the Earth's surface.  Without geological processes there wouldn’t be any land formation where organisms may inhabit.

The possible events that have occurred in the places where we took the pictures may be an earthquake, drought, and landslide.

Plate tectonics shifts continents on a billion-year time span. Plate tectonics also has an impact on long-term climatic patterns, which will shift over time. It also affects ocean current patterns, heat distribution around the globe, and animal evolution and speciation. Geologic processes not just solely affect how Earth systems look in our eyes’ vision— rather, it also does have a big impact on how we, humans, live and survive in this place. Let these two specific processes be examples to expand more my reasons and explanations on the connection of geologic processes to survival of the human race: Erosion and Earthquake. Erosion is a process in which terrestrial materials are transported and scoured by natural forces. Hence, erosion occurring in a place where it’s inhabited by humans or animals, can put damage to their havens and danger to their lives. Thus, improved and enhanced way of survival is necessary. Another example is Earthquake— a shaking activity beneath the Earth’s surface. An area where frequently earthquake occurs versus an where there is zero history of earthquake occurring, the former area’s way of living is most probably more aware, disaster-ready, and with sturdy homes, meanwhile, the latter—we can imagine it to be more carefree and organisms may just choose to inhabit on a very elevated place for they need not to worry about constant shaking of their soil that can lead to destruction of their homes. With all being said, it is safe to say that geologic processes plays a very significant role whether in humans’ or animals’ lives— or just generally in Earth’s existence.

The possible events that possibly occurred in areas found in the captured images are Erosion, Weathering and Mass Wasting. Erosion is the process of earthen materials scouring and transporting to a certain area caused by wind, water, and more. As seen in the first picture, you can see tree trunks scattered on the ground and soils deformed—which why I can say Erosion possibly occurred there. Weathering is a geologic process in which rocks and minerals are broken down by the natural environment such as plants, wind, rain, etc. In the second picture, you can also see the effects on weather to the rock, it had stuff on its surface and the rock is cracked. It could cause mass wasting at anytime with the influence of gravity. Mass wasting or mass movement is the process wherein large amount of rock and soil moves down the slope. For this last one, it is obvious in the third picture that mass wasting occurred there for the soil formation literally looks like something moving downward happened there. Hence, those are the possible events that could happen in the viewed pictures.


C. What could happen in the future as the tectonic plates continue to move and how will it change your place. 

As the tectonic plates shift, the ground beneath them moves as well, potentially causing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. The movement of the tectonic plates causes continents and other terrestrial areas to shift position depending on which way the plates move. Answer: Geologic processes involve the events under exogenic and endogenic processes as most people know. But really, there is much more than that. Geologic processes are not only about how landscapes are formed, or even destructed by nature, chemically or mechanically.  This also informs and talks about the cautions or risks when it comes to the process of a certain event. The impact it can give to a certain area, and changes it may bring to the people living.
It helps us understand more as to why certain things happen in this world. Such as climate change, earthquakes, tsunamis, global warming, and many more. With that understanding, we are able to predict future scenarios and find ways to protect the endangered, revive the extinct, and sustain the Earth's layers/atmosphere.

Answer: Based on the pictures presented, the possible events that occurred are weathering, erosion, mass wasting, and sedimentation. And all of it is due to the factors such as air, water, wind, earth's movement, and stress on the earth's surface. These events made us realize, how those events were a big factor of why and how things such as landslides and rock formations happen in the different parts of the world. And with that understanding, it is really helpful for us to know the factors so that we can know what are the possible events that might occur in an area and avoid bad events as much as possible.

c. what could happen in the future as the tectonic plates continue to move and how will it change your place.

Answer: As tectonic plates continue to move, from the known supercontinent "Pangaea"  that was broken into 7 continents,(now known as Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. ) The same thing could happen again after a decade, or maybe a century from today. The 7 continents broken into pieces, again. traveling will be much more difficult, as flights for airplanes, and traveling by boat or yachts will be the only way to get to the other country/place, in the future. 
Another side could also be, more mountains, volcanoes and faults will be discovered. METAMORPHIC
· Metamorphic rocks are formed when existing rock is transformed into new types of rock, a process known as metamorphism. The original rock (protolith) is subjected to temperatures more than 150 to 200 °C (300 to 400 °F) and, often, elevated pressure of 100 megapascals (1,000 bar) or more, causing severe physical or chemical changes. It is possible that the protolith is a sedimentary, igneous, or existing metamorphic rock, and the rock will remain mainly solid during this process, but it will progressively recrystallize to a new texture or mineral composition
MAGMATISM
· Magmatism is one of the most important factors in mountain creation. For example, andesitic magmatism linked with the creation of island arcs at convergent plate borders or basaltic magmatism at mid-ocean ridges during seafloor spreading at divergent plate boundaries depend on the tectonic setting.[1]
            Magma is formed on Earth by partial melting of silicate rocks in the mantle, continental crust, or oceanic crust. Igneous rocks, which have developed from magma, are generally found as evidence of magmatic activity.
SEISMIC
· Seismicity, or the distribution of earthquakes in location, time, and magnitude around the world or locally. It refers to a measure of earthquake frequency in a region, such as the number of earthquakes of magnitude 5 to 6 per 100 square kilometers (39 square miles).
TECTONIC
· Over millions of years, the movement of tectonic plates has altered the position and size of the continents. The evolution of India's current landform features has also been influenced by such movements

METAMORPHIC
· A rock is deformed, especially as a result of differential stress, and a mineral assemblage goes out of equilibrium owing to temperature; and (2) chemical recrystallization; and (3) mechanical dislocation; and (4) mechanical dislocation; and (5) chemical recrystallization

MAGMATISM
· Transfer of heat commonly happens along convergent borders, where tectonic plates are colliding together. Hot rock from below can intrude into the cooler plate above as the denser tectonic plate subducts or sinks below, or as the less-dense tectonic plate subducts or sinks below. This is how heat is transferred and magma is formed
SEISMIC
· In an earthquake, the ground shakes as a result of a sudden fault slide. Stresses in the earth's outer layer force the sides of the fault together. Stress builds up and the rocks slip unexpectedly, releasing energy in waves that travel through the earth's crust and generate the shaking that we feel during an earthquake
TECTONIC
· Events such as earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis all result because of plate tectonics.

C. What could happen in the future as the tectonic plates continue to move and how will it change your place
· When the pacific hits up against the key stone that is Africa it will push the Mid Atlantic ridge up and tear the ring of fire apart, AGAIN. Just like it did 12,000 years ago the last time our solar system eclipses our galaxies electromagnetic/Gravitational plane.

It should be referred to as continental rebound rather than continental drift.

Our climatic cycles are caused by the Galactic Milankovitch cycles, which create ice/tropical ages every 60,000 years due to the 240,000 rotation of the galactic bulge. Inconvenient truth to use Al Gore’s propaganda piece moniker is the 26,000 year Precession of the 7 north stars because every 12,000 years now our solar system eclipses crosses over the Milky Way for a 1000 year, causing the end times.

The significance of the geologic process hero on earth is cardinal, for without it there would be no place for us to live. The geological process especially endogenic makes the formation of beautiful valleys, volcanoes, and mountains.

In our picture, it can be seen that our area is heavily affected by an Earthquake. With the cracks in the roads and walls, it is possible that weathering plays a big role in weakening the rock’s structure, which results in the cracking of the road and walls in our area. 

C. What could happen in the future as the tectonic plates continue to move and how will it change your place? 

As the tectonic continues to move, earthquakes in our area will continuously occur, and the cracks in our road might continue to become a real problem for us. Calamities will continue and damage our area even further, and as it continues to move there is a possible chance that there will be a new formation of landforms at faults.

The erosions, weathering, depositions, and other events are the geological processes that natural forces shape the physical and the surface of a planet, these are the events that occur on the earth's surface that make up its features.

Most of the rocks are sedimentary- formed from particles of older rocks that have been broken apart by water or wind.
