There are many alternatives to use in the ELT methodology due to internet, alternative teaching-learning process in the learning English, such as Webquest, blogs, wiki, among others.

The students think the wiki is a useful platform since this does the students can participate, integrating, interacting through the mutual learning and the peer feedback actively.

We as a teachers must have in account to apply to the learners in the reading skills, searching discussing, analyzing and interpretative text of a way effective to have a true teaching-learning process, in a new language.

An increasingly globalized world requires the promotion of learning and teaching a second language for the inhabitants of the city. Publications on the development of knowledge and new forms of communication such as the Internet are conducted in English. The training of children and young people who have mastered the English language requires the development of methodological strategies, learning environments and practices that promote the development of communicative competence in this language. " Educational technologies offer the opportunity to think critically about the modernization of existing education systems, offering new learning opportunities that can be disseminated to society as a whole. Supporting efficient teaching, through the promotion of quality, flexibility, adequacy and availability of support materials, which represents a wide educational repertoire for the teacher.

Blogs, and more specifically the edublogs were seen until recently as the ideal tool that allowed giving a constructivist approach to language learning. However, few results have been seen and the use of blogs today is less widespread than was once believed. Not only that, but it does not seem that many of the professors who do work with blogs know how to take advantage of the possibilities they offer as a means to develop the communicative skills needed in a multicultural world and open the class to the world. This article is the result of my reflections after working for two years using blogs as a tool for learning Spanish as a foreign language and gives some clues as to why we should use blogs as a complement to the class manual.
