Of the 85% of the country eligible, only 64% have gotten a shot in the whole country. With Covid infecting everyone still we need to continue vaccinating. As of yesterday in San Francisco County, our Covid rates are 10 cases per 100,000 people living in the city. The cases are coming down slowly and will hopefully continue going down. We are looking for the first light that turned in at the very beginning of cosmic time, Says Caitlin Casey. I think It’s amazing that by looking at stars through a telescope you can see back in time. Before the Big Bang there was nothing, no light and nothing for a telescope to see. Why is it that we can’t see anything before the Big Bang? If we can see through a telescope back in time can’t we see before the Big Bang too? The article is describing how people are creating a telescope that can see farther back in time than any other. Even though we have advanced technology some things are still unable to  and discover.

I new that it took a very long time for light to get to earth but I never thought about that when looking through a telescope. This is connected to something I know about because a while ago I remember people were saying cats and dogs (like pets) could get covid and now Lions  and tigers tested positive.

A new idea is that I didn’t know zoo animals could get it.

I wonder how they got it because they said it might have been from people who were asymptomatic but I wonder how they came in contact with these people.

Summary: Lions and tigers are showing covid symptoms. People think they caught covid from asymptomatic humans.

This has been a very hard time for everybody because of people losing their job, and not being able to go to school. News about COVID has me thinking in getting vaccinated and how that might help me with others around me too. But at the same time I am confused because even though there are vaccinations, why isn’t COVID going away. Is it because people aren’t following directions? When will this pandemic end?

Furthermore my family uses a gas heating and cooling system, which is very bad for the environment.

I never knew that ac and heating was a main source of global warming.

I wonder if the cost of heat pumps will be lowered as there will be a higher demand for it in the near future.

In this video it shows why we should start using heat pumps, and the why traditional furnaces are extremely bad for the environment. It also tells us that heat pumps don’t work that well in snowy or very cold weather so furnaces may still be needed as a backup. In conclusion heat pumps serve as an alternative to furnaces and ac but furnaces still could be  needed.

When a border patrol agent shouted” Get out now! Back to Mexico!” It made me think how it should be legal for people to go to a different place if they have their on legal way of transporting themselves. This wouldn’t be effecting anyones lives.

I wonder what would happen if people were allowed anywhere they want if there would be too much of a population or something bad happened in society.

Some teachers are saying that it is effecting the kids when it comes to having runny noses and strong headaches throughout the school day. 91 days how strong smoke is flowing around on average every year. It was about only 66 days around a decade ago but now some happens so often that it makes this town ( North California) one of the smokest towns in America. About a million people are breathing bad air coming mostly from the western wild fires. When there’s more and more smoke in the air, it tends to cause people to have asma attacks, trouble breathing and intense migrans . It’s more dangerous for kids considering our lungs are still growing and cannot take much.

I can connect this to the time when everyone at school had to wear a mask when using the outside stairs and inside the building, all the doors would be closed because they didn’t want the smoke to get in. I remember it smelling terrible like something just had burnt in the kitchen.

 I wonder how all these fires keep happing and if its getting so serious to the point where kids can’t go outside because of the smoke at school, why are they going at all?

SUMMARY OF ARTICLE:
Northern  California has been having very big a serious wild fires. The stronger the smoke gets, the worse it is for the kids that have to go to school out there.
