Definition: A meeting held to restructure Europe after the defeat of Napoleon. It was at the meeting that German states were first loosely brought together in the German Confederation.

Significance: This structured what will come in the future and was necessary for them. For this reason we ended up thinking this was the most important event and we gave it a 11.

Definition: In the Zollverein there was German customs union, it was during the Prussian rule.

Significance: I would put the Zollverein as a 4 because it created regulations and economic collaboration amongst the German States.

Definition: Was a sequence of republican rebel against European monarchies, starting with Sicily and the extent to Germany, Italy, France and the Australian Empire.

Significance: I would put the 1848 Revolutions as a 7, because it ended the constitutional absolutism of Louis Philippe, and it concluded to the revolution of the French Second Republic.

Definition: The Appointment of Otto von Bismarck was where King Fredrick Wilhelm IV was arranged by Bismarck who was a Prussian representative to the German Confederation.

Significance: I would give the Appointment of Otto von Bismarck a 3, because it dis included Austria from the Federation’s incident and concluded to the previous German Confederation.

Definition: The Danish War was where they lost the two German duchies of Holstein and Lauenburg which led to the loss of 40% of the state’s population.

Significance: I would give the Danish War a 6 because it created the modern-day of Denmark and the development of the Danish nation-state.

Definition: The Austro-Prussian was a change in ability which it included the German states away from Austrian and towards the Prussian.

Significance: I would give the Austro-Prussian War a 2 because it ended the French hegemony and it created a merging state with Germany.

Significance - This event wasn’t that big of a deal of my best understanding even though the gain of land. So for that reason we gave it a 1.

Significance - It was very significance and it became the industrial,, tech, scientific giant of Europe. For these reasons of German becoming an empire I gave it the level of 10.

Significance - It created basic law for Germany so it was important but we believed that there were things much more important. For this reason we gave it the grade 5.

Significance - I believe that it was something that could have been handled differently instead of war but the results were that it created the German empire. So we ended up giving it the level of a 8.

Significance - We put this as a 9 because it ended the war which was needed. It killed so many troops and loses from this war were huge, so for it to be ended is a very big deal.
